어젠 간만에 기름을 넣으러 갔더니 지난번 넣었을 때보다 50 cents가 내렸다.
오늘 신문에 다음 주부터 한국은 1500원대로 내려간다든데 여긴 갤런당 $2.799니까 오늘 환율 1444원 적용하면
$2.8 * 1,444원 / 3.785L = 1,068원/L이 되는구나.
갤런당 $4에 육박했던 때를 생각하면 많이 내리긴 했지만 여전히 비싼 것 같다.

Chris, a tech in my lab, showed me the following video clip of “the Simpsons”. I found a sort of a full version of this movie clip.

Bart: I’m gonna talk to PhDs. Hey, guys! I heard an assistant professorship just opened up. (Oh~ yeah!) At the University of Psych! (Ah~u~)
[Scene 2]
Bart: I was so bored I cut the pony tail off the guy sitting in front of us. “Look at me. I’m a grad student. I’m 30 years old and I made $600 last year.”
Marge: Bart, don’t make fun of grad students. They’ve just made a terrible life choice.
